Expansive clay, which shrinks under dry conditions and swells during wet conditions, creates potential issues when hard concrete, a foundation, is placed on top of it. Minimizing soil movement under a concrete foundation is key to preventing issues in the future and while it may not be required by any regulations, soil injection can be a great tool in the right situations.

This soil report will describe the soil conditions, recommended steps that should be taken, recommended foundation types and more. So is soil injection really necessary?
